Projects and Recordings
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of musical projects — from touring bands, original projects and theatre productions to studio sessions across multiple genres. This section showcases (in no strict chronological order) a small selection of the recordings I’ve played on (might add to this over time) and current projects I’m involved with. It might give some insight into the reasonably varied and sometimes seemingly chaotic nature of my professional working life!
Northern Live - Do I Love You
Northern Live – Do I Love You, The ultimate Northern Soul live band experience! Keeping faith to the original sounds of an underground movement that started on dance floors in the North and eventually swept a nation. This captivating 11-piece live band, features 4 vocalists, and recreates the unstoppable rhythm of over 30 Northern Soul classics paying homage to artists and musicians forever etched into vinyl.

Bilbao Syndrome
The album ‘I-VI’ was released in 2012 on Babel Label. Accompanying the release Jazzwise magazine ran a double page article about the group.
“Bilbao Syndrome, a liberating sonic blast of contemporary metal and jazz skronk, is an avant-underground supergroup featuring two members of Leeds-based death jazzers Trio-VD (guitarist Chris Sharkey and drummer Chris Bussey), internationally renowned jazz keyboard enfant terrible Matthew Bourne, John Zorn-esque noiseniks trio Minghe Morte's (with Chris Bussey) bassist/leader Colin Sutton and thoroughly imposing frontman vocalist and acidic wordsmith Andrew Plummer of World Sanguine Report.”
